Community Guidelines

The principles that keep Barakah Union a trusted, respectful, and accountable space.

Last updated: March 2026

1. Respect Every Member

Treat every person on the platform with dignity and respect. Disagreements are natural, but personal attacks, insults, and demeaning language are not acceptable. Engage with ideas, not identities.

2. Trust-First Behavior

Barakah Union is built on trust. Honor your commitments, be transparent about your intentions, and follow through on what you promise. Your trust score reflects real behavior, and the community depends on each member acting with integrity.

3. No Spam or Manipulation

Do not post repetitive, irrelevant, or promotional content. Do not create multiple accounts to manipulate trust scores, pool mechanics, or community dynamics. Automated or bulk messaging is prohibited.

4. No Harassment or Intimidation

Harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, or intimidation of any kind will result in immediate action. This includes unwanted contact, sharing private information without consent, and targeting individuals based on identity, background, or beliefs.

5. Accountability Matters

If you join a money pool, commit to a schedule, or take on a role in a group, follow through. If circumstances change, communicate openly. The governance and dispute systems exist to resolve issues fairly, but they work best when members act responsibly from the start.

6. Protect Privacy

Respect the privacy of other members. Do not share private messages, contribution details, or personal information outside the platform without explicit consent. What happens in a private group stays in that group.

7. Report and Resolve

If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines, use the dispute and governance tools available on the platform. Our moderation team reviews all reports and takes appropriate action. False or malicious reports are themselves a violation of these guidelines.

8. Consequences

Violations of these guidelines may result in warnings, temporary suspension, trust score adjustments, or permanent account removal, depending on severity. Repeated violations will be treated more seriously. All moderation actions are recorded in the governance system for transparency.
